Gotham Green Guide is a link directory promoting all things green in and around New York City. That would include parks, botanical gardens, gardening organizations, bicycling, walking, alternative fuels, green building, vegetarian restaurants, animal rights, smoke-free living, smoking-cessation, recycling, pollution abatement and more.

In recent years, I have compiled news clippings identifying countless online green concerns and noteworthy "green people" in New York City. This will be the basis for further growth of the web site, along with your link suggestions. As the site evolves, there may be new sections and features, a little photography and some design elements.

Overall, I'm a bit excited about the potential of this directory. It's just one of many projects in my life and will get some priority soon. This is a non-paying labor of love because I care about animals and their right to live unslaughtered and uncaged. I also care about the environment we create for them and ourselves, both inside and outside New York City. I'm a tree hugging vegetarian.
